Trust has a process.

Understand the people behind each publication, the role of independent review, and how contributions are recognized.

Expertise with a visible identity.

A verified contributor status is intended to indicate that a person’s professional identity or an organization’s identity has been checked through VIEWMIUM’s verification process.

The badge belongs to the contributor profile. It is distinct from a publication’s review status: a verified author does not automatically make every publication peer reviewed.

About this demonstration

The profiles, qualifications, certificates, review attributions, and scores in this preview are illustrative. No real professional verification or medical peer review has been performed on these sample records.

From contribution to publication.

01 / A contributor prepares the material

The author provides the educational content, appropriate image sources, learning objectives, and relevant clinical context. Ownership and permitted use of images must be established before publication.

02 / Independent reviewers assess the work

Reviewers consider accuracy, educational clarity, completeness, and the relationship between the images and written interpretation. Issues are returned to the author for revision.

03 / Reviewed work becomes public

The publication displays its author, review status, and the reviewers whose profiles are public. Subsequent updates should remain connected to their review history.

Clear authorship. Clear attribution.

Publication authors and reviewers have distinct roles. The portal connects both to public contributor profiles so readers can explore their other work and specialties.

Peer review supports educational quality; it does not guarantee that an individual image or educational article is suitable for a specific clinical decision. Readers should use the complete clinical context and applicable professional guidance.

Measure contribution, not popularity.

The preview uses a transparent sample formula: 10 points for a publication and 3 points for an attributed peer review. It does not award points for profile views or publication views.

The last-365-days view counts activity on publications dated within that period. The all-time view includes every published sample resource. Ties are ordered by stable profile slug. The production scoring policy can replace this illustrative formula when approved.
