Your expertise. Your choice.
Professional visibility should never come at the expense of privacy. Public profiles are built around consent and individual choices.
Public by choice, from the start.
A contributor’s account and their public profile are separate. Creating an account does not automatically create a public profile. A person or organization must explicitly choose to make their profile visible.
The portal is for professional authorship and educational contributions. It does not provide access to private account information.
You choose what is visible.
A public profile can include a chosen display name, biography, specialties, location, professional experience, certificates, and links. Each field follows its own visibility setting.
People
A professional display name can be used. A legal name is shown only if it is deliberately selected as public information.
Organizations
The organization’s public identity and educational work are shown separately from the people managing its account.
Visibility can change.
Contributors manage profile visibility in the main VIEWMIUM application. When a profile is made private, the public portal should stop displaying the profile and its optional personal fields.
Previously shared links may lead to a page explaining that a profile is no longer public. Search engines and third-party copies can take longer to reflect changes.
See a private-profile stateWhat stays private.
Email addresses, verification documents, private account data, and internal identifiers do not belong in the public portal. Unpublished resources and draft translations remain private.
A verified badge communicates a verification status. It does not expose the documents used to establish that status.
